Heritage Society
The Heritage Society was founded in 1993 to recognize alumni and friends of the University of Idaho who have made the commitment to sustain U of I for years to come, celebrating the University’s unique role in our state and our nation.
You become a member of this group when you leave a gift for U of I in your will, trust, or other accounts. Any gift, large or small, will advance our mission of innovative thinking, community engagement and transformative education.
Many friends like you have shared their gift intentions to inspire others and so that we may best plan for the University’s future.
We hope you will let us know if you’ve named U of I in your estate plans. We’d like to recognize you for your generosity and commitment and we’ll acknowledge you for making this commitment by welcoming you to the Heritage Society with a Heritage Society medallion. You may choose to remain anonymous if you prefer. You also will be included in invitations to University events in your area and invited to the annual Gala on campus in the fall.
